Overview
DeBank + Extension ("the Extension") is a browser extension that enhances your experience on debank.com. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.
Key Point: All your wallet data is stored locally on your device. We do not collect wallet addresses, balances, or any financial information. Optional anonymous analytics can be disabled in settings.
Data We Store Locally
The Extension stores the following data on your device only:
- Wallet Addresses — Addresses you choose to track
- Labels — Custom labels you assign to wallets
- Settings — Your preferences (alert thresholds, theme)
- Activity History — Records of tracked wallet activity
Wallet Security
This extension has NO ACCESS to your wallet. We cannot and do not access your private keys, seed phrases, or any wallet credentials. The extension only reads publicly available information displayed on debank.com pages.
Optional Analytics
If enabled in settings, we collect:
- Browser type — Chrome, Edge, Brave, etc.
- Language — Your browser language setting
- Screen size — e.g., 1920x1080
- Timezone — Your system timezone
- Extension version — e.g., 1.1.0
- Anonymous device ID — A randomly generated identifier (not linked to your identity)
This helps us improve the extension and understand usage patterns.
No wallet data is collected. You can disable this anytime in Settings → Usage Statistics.
Smart Redirects
The extension may receive URL redirect rules to help fix broken DeFi links (e.g., when a protocol moves to a new domain). These rules are applied using Chrome's declarativeNetRequest API and only affect navigation on debank.com, not page content.
Data We Do NOT Collect
- Private keys or seed phrases — We have no access to your wallet
- Wallet passwords or credentials — We cannot sign transactions
- Personal information (name, email, phone)
- Browsing history outside of debank.com
- Wallet balances or transaction data
Wallet Analysis Feature
The extension can detect and analyze Ethereum wallet addresses on any webpage you visit. This helps you quickly check if a wallet is eligible for airdrops, track balance changes, or add it to your watchlist. You can right-click any selected address to analyze it with DeBank.

Third-Party Services
The Extension interacts with:
- debank.com — Read publicly available wallet information from pages you visit
- dewhale.app — Receive extension configuration and redirect rules (if enabled)
Anonymous usage statistics (if enabled) are sent to dewhale.app. No wallet data or personal information is transmitted.
Data Security
Your data is stored using Chrome's secure storage APIs:
- chrome.storage.sync — Settings sync across your Chrome browsers (if signed in)
- chrome.storage.local — Local data that stays on your device
Data Deletion
You can delete all Extension data at any time by:
- Right-clicking the Extension icon → "Remove from Chrome"
- Going to Chrome Settings → Extensions → DeBank+ → Remove
- Clearing browser data in Chrome settings
Children's Privacy
This Extension is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
